Mmm.. just can’t go much wrong with those lovely Missoni-ish colors and patterns. Particularly the knitwear summer dresses (similar to hers) are just so wonderful. The best part is that they will make any woman glow. It doesn’t matter if you are tall or short, blonde or brunette et.c., you’ll be able to find a dress that highlights your best features. Just take a look at some of the pictures on google. Most women photographed wearing a colorful Missoni will be smiling like a million dollars and exuding confidence as they know they look great.
If you want to spoil yourself, go for a real one (or M by Missoni) as the Missoni knitting is very solid, and the dress is soft but has a nice structure. If you need to save some money, why don’t have a look at for instance Topshop (hers is from Topshop) or then have a look on eBay if you can pick up any of those Missoni for Target pieces. Be bold though, go for the brighter and merrier colors. …And by the way, check out her sandals, too.. yeah! 🙂
M Missoni usually has some absolutely great tunics and beach dresses too, I’m eagerly waiting (and saving up) for their forthcoming summer collection…
This is also a good spot to mention one of my most favorite fashion ad campaigns of all times. Remember the Missoni 2010 SS campaign shot by Juergen Teller? If not, you can check it out here http://www.wwd.com/media-news/fashion-memopad/memo-pad-en-famille-2409018. Yes, it sure is yesterday’s news but so what. It transports such a powerful message about family and the beautiful and good things in life that I just like to revisit it every now and then. Just have a look at the dress on Margherita Missoni standing behind Rosita Missoni. Absolutely stunning…
